Kalarippayattu is an ancient martial art from Kerala, India. There is no other martial art practice in the country to compete with its training system and application techniques. These have been compiled over many decades by the great gurus and masters of the land. It has a continuity that spreads over centuries and is based on the ide of a sound mind in a sound body. Kalarippayattu is a rare combination of martial training, physical culture, self-defense practice and physiotherapeutic treatment.

About the workshop leader: Vipin Kazhipurath
Vipin Kazhipurath is an expert Instructor of Kalaripayattu. He is trained in different various forms of Martial Arts, including Kalaripayattu, Judo & Capoeira. With over 20 years of experience, 12 years of self-learning & 8 yrs of teaching, he has hosted multiple workshops in different parts of the world. His vision is to establish the Kalripayattu art form as a lifestyle to help more people obtain physical and mental well being.
